A Movement for Indigenous Women's Wellness

In Anishinaabemowin,
"kwe" means woman.

KWESTRONG is a grassroots social movement that emerged from a desire to promote wellness within the American Indian community. Our vision has been to create a supportive space for Native women to participate in the American Indian Women's Triathlon on the Chain of Lakes.

For the past twelve years, the KWESTRONG Triathlon (Kwe TRI) has been held at Bde Maka Ska in South Minneapolis. Kwe.Strong is a community of American Indian women and girls who are committed to educating, empowering, and inspiring one another as change-makers.
